This is an idea I have been playing with. It’s nice to be able to slice up a veggie when it’s fresh and then cook it and it’s ready to serve, but the typical veggie casserole¬†isn’t very presentable to young kids or if you are looking for something¬†aesthetically¬†pleasing for your own presentation purposes. So I have started playing with veggie logs. The idea is pretty simple. Cut up the veggie in even slices, then insert flavor via cheese, butter, oils, salt, and seasoning, then wrap in foil and bake. Once unwrapped it can be served in sections of perfectly spread out on the plate.
