This was a personal first for me. I have cooked with ground lamb meet before, but a leg of lamb is just too expensive for our family. I was at the store and saw a cut that was discounted to move before it reached it’s shelf life. All I have to say is WOW! That is some good stuff. I can see why it is so pricey and why it is so sought after. I cooked it up with a fun quick dish of ratatouille and green beans with brown rice. We won’t do it often, but I will keep my eyes out for a good deal from time to time. I plan on using the left overs to make a shepherd’s pie tomorrow.
