Who is this guy?

Me in a nutshell

My name is Adam White. Born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, where I still live and work, I am a technology advocate, community builder, graphic designer, programmer, father of six awesome children, and composer of enormous run on sentences. I love problem solving and enjoy puzzles and mind games, which is probably why I became a designer and also enjoy programming. With rapidly changing technology, there are fresh problems to be solved daily with both design and code. Although I really enjoy the art of design, I have come to realize that good design isn’t about being the most original or unique. Design is about communicating with visual mediums in the most effective manner. Both clear communication and pleasing visual stimulation, neither require that design always be a work of art. So I find myself spending a lot less time worrying about being different, and more time focused on resource effective communication. Meaning not spending all day on a project that could have taken an hour if I hadn’t gotten my ego involved. This has led  me to utilizing more design templates and stock photography, but has also freed me to spend more time with family and less time behind the computer.
